This annual award honors companies who rank highest in employee satisfaction as determined by surveys administered by the Best Companies Group, a third-party research firm out of Harrisburg, Penn.

Companies from across the state entered the two-part survey process to determine the best places to work in Connecticut. The first part evaluated each company’s workplace policies, practices and benefits. The second part consisted of a confidential employee survey to measure employee engagement and satisfaction. The combined scores determined the top companies and the final ranking.

We continue to evolve and improve our benefits to better suit our team’s needs,” said Director of Employee Engagement, Christine Millette. “We also give everyone a seat at the table when it comes to making improvements. At the same time, our work continues to be challenging and motivating so you’re getting the best of both worlds.”

To be considered for participation, companies had to fulfill the following eligibility requirements:

  • Be a for-profit business or government entity
  • Be a publicly or privately held business
  • Have a facility in Connecticut
  • Have at least 15 employees in Connecticut
