Mintz + Hoke wins three Bell Ringer Awards
Avon, Conn., June 8, 2012 - This past week at the 2012 Bell Ringer Awards, Mintz + Hoke received three awards, competing against over 300 professionals in the public relations industry. Since 1969 the Bell Ringer Awards, presented by the Publicity Club of New England, have recognized excellence in communications/marketing, public relations and media across many different fields, embracing the many different techniques that their members have to offer their clients and honoring those that stand out among the rest, valuing the creative process and tangible results.
The integrated marketing communications firm received a Bronze Bell for its Multimedia Motivational Presentation with Pexco, a plastic extrusions company that is striving to clearly communicate goals and progress to its 1,100 employees in multiple locations. Through careful and strategic planning, a new video was developed that clearly articulated these ideas featuring CEO Neil Shillingford. Translated and offered in both English and Spanish, the motivational video launched in early 2012 was well received and successful at communicating company priorities and objectives to its iemployees.
In addition, Mintz + Hoke received two merit awards for its work with Legrand/Wiremold, a company that develops and produces floor boxes that contain electrical outlets and data ports at the work station. One award was given for a promotional brochure which provides the audience with aesthetic information on how these boxes can be neither ugly nor intrusive, making it ideal for any workspace. The second award was given for the overarching Business-to-Business campaign of these boxes which highlighted the many product features and explored how new audiences could be reached. As a result of this innovative work, Legrand/Wiremold was able to secure a large order with a new hospital.
On June 4, PR team members Janette Baxter, Bill Graulty and Sharon Harper traveled to Boston to receive these awards and meet with colleagues, learning about other notable campaigns and influential trends in the industry while securing and distinguishing Mintz + Hoke’s ability to create meaningful relationships in a competitive market.
