Each summer for the past 10 years plus Mintz & Hoke has run "Hot Summer Fun" promotions at Mohegan Sun. Working with radio stations we develop 8 weeks of entertainment on the rooftop of the parking garage at Mohegan Sun. Thousands of people turn out for the event - it is wall to wall people - they bring blankets, chairs, etc. We have a "Battle of the Bands" concert completion with judges in which bands from CT and MA and Providence come and entertain in addition for a chance to win the "Battle". A stipend is given to the winner after the 8-week competition and a chance to win an appearance at the Wolf Den of the Mohegan Sun.

• Battle of the Bands has evolved into the centerpiece of the Wild Wednesday Festival.
